Hi, I’m Hope Wilday — a wedding and portrait photographer currently based in the Kansas City area.

I grew up in Cincinnati, where my love for photography first began through a fascination with storytelling, emotion, and preserving moments that feel deeply personal. Over time, that passion naturally grew into a love for weddings — the emotion, the atmosphere, the quiet in-between moments, and the beauty of documenting a story as it unfolds naturally.

My work is inspired by romance, nostalgia, and cinema. I’m drawn to creating timeless, film-inspired imagery that feels soft, emotional, and effortlessly elegant — photographs that look like memories frozen in time. I want your gallery to feel less like a collection of posed photos and more like still frames from a beautifully lived moment.

I believe the best wedding photography comes from genuine connection and trust. My approach is calm, intentional, and relaxed so you can fully experience your day while I capture it honestly and artistically. From the big emotions to the smallest details, I’m always looking for the moments that feel real.

As someone newer to Kansas City, I’ve loved discovering new places, meeting incredible people, and building a business rooted in connection and creativity. It’s such an exciting season of life, and I feel incredibly grateful to document love stories along the way.
